Xtreme Thermal Cycling, LLC is a Cryogenic heat treating facility for the manufactering and motorsports industies. XTC, LLC was started in 2000 as a single machine operation. In June 2007, we purchased a 2nd machine to fill a need in the market as a lease machine to be used for in house treating. By doing this, the customer can do testing and then start shipping parts. This also limits shipping between us and the customer, reducing overhead. By leasing our chamber, the customer has an expense, rather than a liability. Check with your accountant for tax benifits.
Both of our machines operate on 240vac, 50 amps service, single phase. The interior size is 24" X 24" X 60". Max load is 1000 lbs. With this system, the liquid
Nitrogen is sprayed in the chamber and allowed to cool the air. This way your parts never come in contact with the liquid causing "hot spots". Once the parts are treated, the machine has the ability to heat to 350 degrees. This part of the process is to keep parts like camshafts from becoming brittle and breaking while in use.
